Who are we?

Resource Systems Group (RSG) conducts market research on behalf of both public and private sector clients using smartphones, the internet, computers and tablets. The data we collect is governed by this privacy policy.

In the event of a conflict between the terms of the Project-Specific Documentation below and the terms of RSG’s privacy policy, the terms in the Project-Specific Documentation below will govern.

What do we collect?

RSG will need to collect and use certain personal information from you, including:

  • Park visitation details – for example, whether you’ve visited a North Dakota state park and when that visit occurred.
  • Attitudes – for example, your preferred source for information about North Dakota state park properties.
  • Spending – for example, amount spent in the local area if you’ve visited a North Dakota state park property.
  • Demographics – for example, age and income to ensure that the survey sample reflects the population of the survey region.

How are we using this data?

RSG and the North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department will use your data to:

  • Inform an economic impact analysis of North Dakota state parks.
  • Inform future planning among North Dakota state park properties.
  • Provide support, if requested.

Who do we share this data with?

RSG will share your data with:

  • The North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department (NDPRD).
  • North Dakota State University (NDSU).
  • A survey panel to distribute emails for this survey (if applicable).
  • An email automation software provider to issue emails for this survey (if applicable).

RSG’s privacy policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, or to individuals that we do not employ or manage

Can you change your mind?

Yes. You may remove your consent or exercise your data rights by submitting a Data Privacy Request through our secure system.

Your participation is voluntary.

The parties above agree that the participants in each project are volunteers, offering their participation freely, without pressure or coercion, and without promise or expectation of compensation from RSG.
